As the world situation with Covid-19 keeps changing we need to be prepared for changes in our plans as well. The safety of our attendees needs to be a priority in the arrangements. This means we want to do all we can to make sure we would not have anyone spreading the virus at any of our activities or in the venue.
There are very high-risk patients among us and this is not an opinion matter, but the risk for them is life threatening. We strongly suggest that everyone takes health concerns seriously and not make it a political or other opinion related issue. Or stay at home with such insights.
The omicron variant of Covid-19 has made the previous precautions less effective. Therefore, we DO NOT require vaccinations or pcr-tests to participate EAM in Espoo-Helsinki.
However, we cannot emphasize enough the responsibility of each individual to take all possible precautions to participate in a safe manner. For all our safety, but especially of those, who are immunocompromised.
Please consider the following:
– get vaccinated
– bring rapid tests with you and test yourself each day of EAM
– follow all familiar hygiene protocols
– consider getting the EU health insurance card if you are an EU citizen (free of cost)
We certainly are hoping that the world situation gets better and not so much worse that we would need to cancel or move the EAM to the next year.
