Main Hotel

Our Main Hotel is the Hotel Europahaus Wien, located just 15 minutes’ walk from the last stop of the Metro line U4 “Hütteldorf”. If you don´t like to walk, you can take the bus 49A or 50A in front of the station.

  •   Our EAM Meetings will take place here and from here we will depart by bus for our Saturday activities.
  •   Most of our optional activities will depart from Hütteldorf Station situated just 15 minutes’ walk from Europahaus.

Getting to the hotel

Arrival by Plane

Vienna International Airport (VIE): it is located in Schwechat, about 18 km southeast of the city center.

From the airport to the hotel:

  1. S-Bahn S7 red train (Cheapest solution)
  • S-Bahn (red train) toward Floridsdorf to Wien Mitte (~25 minutes).
  • Buy a ticket from the red ÖBB machine in the airport or airport station. If you already bought a ticket for Vienna public transportation (https://www.wienerlinien.at/web/wl-en), then you just need an
  • Extension ticket (about €3), on the red machine: “Single ticket from Vienna airport to Vienna city limit”
  • Transfer by metro U4 to Hütteldorf.
  • From Hütteldorf (the last station) the hotel is a short walk away. (~10 – 15 min walk or you can take a bus)
  1. CAT City Airport Train non stop ( green train) to Wien Mitte (~16 minutes).
  • CAT ticket ~€15
  • Transfer to metro U4 towards Hütteldorf.
  • Get off at the last Station (Hütteldorf) – the hotel is a short walk away. (~10 – 15 min walk or you can take a bus)
  1. Taxi or Van (~35–40 minutes depending on traffic) Taxi for 4pp. (~ €45), Van for 8 pp. (~€70)
Arrival by Train

From Vienna Main Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof):

  • Take metro U1 toward Leopoldau to Karlsplatz.
  • Transfer to metro U4 to Hütteldorf.
  • From Hütteldorf station- the hotel is a short walk away.

The U4 metro line runs frequently and is convenient for reaching the city center.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Vienna has an excellent public transportation network (metro, trains, trams, buses).

So let’s use it!!!

We will use the metro (U-Bahn) and trains (S-Bahn) for most excursions.

Consider a 24-hour pass or 7-day pass for unlimited travel on metro, trams, and buses.

Tickets & Prices:

  • Single ticket: €3,20
  • 24-hour pass: €10,20 (unlimited travel for 24 hours)
  • 7-day pass: €28,90 (unlimited travel for 7 consecutive days)

👉 Metro service ends at midnight (except on Saturdays and Sundays)

TIP: Tickets are also available at metro stations or tobacco shops (Tabak Trafik)

No public transportation tickets required on SATURDAY

Meeting Point at Hütteldorf station

Secondary Hotel

Our Second Hotel is the H2 Hotel Wien Schönbrunn, located directly at the Meidling-Hauptstraße metro station of the U4 line. (direction Hütteldorf)
